This trail begins with a gentle climb through an open meadow filled with wildflowers depending on the time of year, before widening out into singletrack that gradually ascends over a hillside.
At its highest point, this trail provides stunning views of Deep Creek and its surroundings mountains. From there it descends into Deep Creek where Tom Branch Falls can be enjoyed from a bridge over Deep Creek – their stunning waterfall descending 75 feet into it! From this bridge over Deep Creek you can either return on the Deep Creek Trail or continue onto Juney Whank Falls Trail.
